About this piece
This Bakhtiari carpet draws the eye with its vivid steel blue field, a shade less common in Persian weaving and all the more striking for it. It suits a living room, dining room, or library, and works particularly well with natural wood tones, stone floors, or neutral contemporary interiors.
Design & colors
Across the field, a classic all-over repeating design fills the space with small diamonds, stylized flowers, branching tree forms, and geometric rosettes, worked in deep red, navy, ivory, and warm earthy tones. The main border is deep navy, with a repeating niche-and-botanical composition typical of the Bakhtiari tradition, well drawn, with clear definition between the guard stripes and the central border panel.
